Fullscale testing June 2010
The complete ShipArrestor system was tested just off the North Cape in arctic Norway. One helicopter, one tugboat and one LNG tanker participated.

31.03.2009: 6 month meeting in Amsterdam
The meeting was held at Schiphol where the results from WP1 were presented.
24.-25.02.2009: Testing of sea anchor
The tests were performed from the M/V Beta using a D30m anchor. The weather was surprisingly good. See video for underwater images.
21.-22.01.2009: 1. Technical meeting
The meeting was held in Glasgow. All participants were present in addition to a panel of external experts from the industry. The search for a suitable connector solutions was limited to two viable options.
15.12.2008: Grant Agreement signed by all parties
The final version of the Grant Agreement signed by the EC and all consortium partners was sent by courier to the EC together with a copy of the first version of the Consortium Agreement
28.-29.10.2008: Kick-Off meeting
The kick-off meeting was held in Oslo. All participants were present in addition to a panel of external experts from the industry.
01.10.2008: Project start
After a long and complicated negotiation phase the project started.
